I ask God that one day I’ll be granted my residency so I can go to Mexico. It’s been 36 years since I last went.Sofía, my journey began like this: I arrived in 1988. I had papers and a work permit in 1994. In 2002, my residency was denied and I was given a deportation order. My world fell apart.I continued with my life, moved to another state, and lost all hope of reopening my case.In 2022, my sister-in-law came to visit my husband and told him about attorney María Mendoza. We didn’t believe it. My sister-in-law kept insisting until she showed us her work permit. That’s when we believed her and contacted the attorney. My husband told her about my case, and she said that if there were no issues, she would file both my case and my husband’s.I still can’t believe that, thanks to God, I received such a great blessing.Thank you so much, attorney María Mendoza.

Hello, my name is Roberto Ibarra Yañez. I am from Spartanburg, South Carolina. I was born in Hidalgo, Mexico. I arrived here in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in the year 2000. I found out about attorney María Mendoza through social media. Before getting my papers, my life was very different. It was very difficult to find a job that paid well, and if I did find a job, it paid very little and involved a lot of hard work. Now that I have my papers, I feel like I have many more opportunities. I plan to visit Mexico, where I haven’t been back in over 30 years.I want to give many thanks to God and also to attorney María Mendoza and her team for making my dream of returning to Mexico come true and for giving me many more opportunities with my papers.
