I ask God that one day I’ll be granted my residency so I can go to Mexico. It’s been 36 years since I last went.Sofía, my journey began like this: I arrived in 1988. I had papers and a work permit in 1994. In 2002, my residency was denied and I was given a deportation order. My world fell apart.I continued with my life, moved to another state, and lost all hope of reopening my case.In 2022, my sister-in-law came to visit my husband and told him about attorney María Mendoza. We didn’t believe it. My sister-in-law kept insisting until she showed us her work permit. That’s when we believed her and contacted the attorney. My husband told her about my case, and she said that if there were no issues, she would file both my case and my husband’s.I still can’t believe that, thanks to God, I received such a great blessing.Thank you so much, attorney María Mendoza.

First of all, I want to thank God for putting this great woman with incredible human qualities, Attorney María Mendoza, and her whole team in my path. Through their constant struggle, they made possible what seemed impossible to me due to all the obstacles in my case. She took it without hesitation, and in just a few months, I was receiving my work permit and social security. A thousand thanks, Attorney María Mendoza, for making my dream come true, as this achievement has completely changed my life. I will be eternally grateful, and every day that God allows, I will pray that He blesses her always and continues helping her in her fight for all of us, her people... The fight continues!

Before starting my process with Mendoza, I was very afraid of being deported and not being able to be with my family. I made the decision to fix my immigration status for my children. Honestly, I had doubts about doing it with Mendoza, because no one had ever given me hope. What motivated me were the Facebook videos of other people. Now that I have my work permit and Social Security number, I feel very happy and grateful to God and to Mendoza. I would tell the community to never give up on achieving their dreams, and that Attorney Mendoza and her team are the real deal. My message to Attorney María Mendoza:I am deeply grateful to you for your help, your patience, all the attention you gave me, and the effectiveness with which you handled my case.
